Piano & Voice Teacher/Coach

Having been born into a musical family, where music is inherently part of her DNA, it's no surprise that Kyia Stoutt is recognised as the top voice teacher and vocal coach in the British Virgin Islands (BVI), with all her students winning or placing in local singing competitions attended by producers and the A&R divisions of well-known US-based record labels.  In addition, she is well-versed in various musical styles, often providing artists (including recording artists) with image or brand consulting, song-writing guidance while infusing her clients with her passion for music and life.  In fact, under her guidance, Kyia’s students have graced stages and appeared on television programmes around the globe, including Black Entertainment Television (BET).

With a Bachelor of Arts in Music (Voice) in her arsenal, Kyia is mostly classically trained in both piano and voice, with a heavy concentration in Musical Theatre.  She has also vocally led several bands showcasing contemporary genres including, but not limited to, soca, calypso, reggae/dancehall, American pop/R&B, gospel, jazz/blues and rap.

Many of Kyia’s other performances have been with world-renowned orchestras at various elite venues in Northeast, USA’s tri-state area, including Carnegie Hall, NYC and the Kimmel Center, Philadelphia, PA.  Kyia has previously taught at the collegiate level and has been a proud music educator in the BVI's public school system for nearly two decades.
